Dan and Mary Neville, Wycliffe Bible translators
Since joining Wycliffe over 25 years ago, Dan and Mary have served in a variety of roles both
overseas and stateside. Their first mission was in the Philippines at a Wycliffe translation
center, then in Pennsylvania in IT support, then as an IT recruiter for Wycliffe.
They are currently located in Michigan, and Dan works with Wycliffe’s Internet Publishing
Service (IPS). He and his teammates teach nationals how to build their own websites for
viewing the Good News online. The Websites allow downloads in print, video, and audio
formats, all in their own language. IPS trainers lead onsite and virtual workshops in locations
around the world and then offer remote follow-up support. This year Dan has become the
team leader for building apps for language groups promoting the Bible and other reading
material in the “mother tongue”. (They support more than 3,000 apps!)
Dan and Mary are excited to be part of what God is doing, using cutting-edge technology to
help with the worldwide distribution of the translated Word and working in the community
where they live sharing that same Good News.
