Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. II Timothy 3:16-17

2. We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Mark 1:10

3. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is both God and man. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:20; 1 Timothy 2:5

4. We believe in the sinful nature of all men and in the necessity of being born again. Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23; John 3:3, 16-18

5. We believe in salvation by grace alone through Jesus Christ's death on the cross and Resurrection on the third day. Salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from human merit or works, and is received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9

6. We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor. Matthew 28:19-20

7. We believe in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as God's design for the church, which is the Bride of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

8. We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by His fruit in the life of the believer, and spiritual gifts. Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12-14

9. We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the believers and unbelievers, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:10-15
